2014 Exploring The Northwest – DAY 4
Getting an early start this morning, we survived a long drive heading north into Montana, with Missoula as the destination. The drive through Montana was beautiful with 10,000 ft. mountain peaks covered with snow. The valleys were lush green with trees and farmland. The rivers looked very inviting for kayaking and fishing – reminded us of The River Runs Through It. Montana is truly the Big Sky Country.
Missoula is the home of Montana State University, where Gregory our grandson has just started his second year. After dinner at a great restaurant, he took us to check out his apartment….great bachelor pad. He has become quite the chef and hosts a Sunday night dinner for all his friends….including a new girlfriend.
